JUMO Presents Efficient Solutions for Water Quality Control at IFAT 2026

The focus of the trade fair presence is a comprehensive portfolio for innovative water data management – ranging from precision sensor technology and intelligent automation to cloud-based visualization and analysis. "Continuous online monitoring of key parameters is crucial for initiating treatment strategies early on and reliably maintaining water quality," explains Matthias Kremer, Industry Manager for Water and Wastewater at JUMO.
Another highlight at the trade fair: the JUMO IoT Bridge. "It makes measurement data available right where conventional infrastructure reaches its limits – in places like construction sites, protected areas, or generally anywhere where no network connection is available," explains Kremer.
It acquires relevant water treatment data from up to 4 Modbus sensors and securely transmits it via LTE to the JUMO Cloud or to the customer's own systems. The robust IP66 housing protects the technology even under harsh conditions, while the integrated GPS module ensures clear identification of mobile or distributed measuring points.
JUMO variTRON 500 is a powerful automation system from JUMO that offers an integrated analysis function. This allows measured values from a wide variety of sensors to be acquired centrally, analyzed, and made available in real time for optimization purposes. The modular architecture enables flexible adaptation to plants of any size.
For flow measurement, JUMO relies on the JUMO flowTrans MAG H20, an electromagnetic flowmeter that is particularly well-suited for applications in water management. It delivers stable, drift-free measured values for precise control in such areas as in filtration stages or dispensing technology.
JUMO digiLine is an intelligent, bus-compatible connection system for digital sensors used in liquid analysis. It enables the simple setup of sensor networks via a common signal line and supports various measurands such as pH value, temperature, redox potential, conductivity, oxygen, and turbidity. Thanks to Plug and Play capability, modular expandability, and secure digital data transmission, process monitoring can be designed efficiently and flexibly.
