From September 15 to 19, 2026, KUKA will showcase innovative automation solutions for metalworking at AMB in Stuttgart with a new generation of robots and controllers. Together with its partners, KUKA will demonstrate at Booth C51 in Hall 6 how intelligent robotics can optimize production processes along the entire process chain.
With the new possibilities offered by artificial intelligence, the potential for end-to-end automation in metalworking continues to grow. Smart automation concepts link individual production steps into efficient processes and lay the foundation for future-proof manufacturing. This is precisely where KUKA takes action, demonstrating practical applications for modern manufacturing at AMB in Stuttgart from September 15 to 19 at Booth C51 in Hall 6.
From the automated loading and unloading of machine tools to workpiece transport and machining and quality control processes, KUKA demonstrates how individual production steps can be combined into an end-to-end manufacturing solution. “Future-proof metal-working requires end-to-end automation concepts. The key is the smart networking of all processes along the value chain. That’s exactly what we’re demonstrating at the AMB using concrete applications,” says Steffen Günther, Business Development Manager for Machine Tool Automation at KUKA. The Augsburg-based automation company will showcase its latest generation of robots and controllers at the booth.
In addition, KUKA is showcasing its latest control and software technology at AMB. With the KR C5 and KR C5 micro robot controllers, powered by the iiQKA.OS2 operating system, KUKA is presenting a future-proof platform for industrial automation that is also designed to be AI-ready. The iiQKA.mxAutomation software interface enables easy integration of the robots into existing machine control systems. In addition, digital tools such as iiQWorks.Sim support planning, virtual commissioning, and optimization of robotic applications.
